Abstract:

Measurement of the fluid-fluid interfacial area is essential in geological applications where porous media two-phase flow and interphase mass transfer are involved. A push-pull kinetic interface-sensitive tracer method is proposed in this study, and the concept is proved through numerical simulations and experiments.
